Precision Pavers was established in the beautiful Florida Keys in 2001 by Timothy and Sabrina Sabalka. They had owned and operated a landscaping company in Colorado but fell in love with the sun and ocean breezes of the Keys. As you can imagine, it wasn’t long before they relocated and established roots in Key Largo with their family.
Many years later, as Tim began to dream of slowing down, Trevor & Karen Kozak stepped in to help facilitate that transition. In the spring of 2023, Trevor’s FL Certified Building Contractor licensing came into effect and Tim stepped into full time retirement.
Trevor & Karen have a longstanding passion for hosting, building, renovating and revitalizing.
Karen loves creating comfortable, functional, inviting spaces. She joins Precision as an innovative, creative, self-motivated wife and mother with a paralegal background and years of general contracting and design experience. She has contributed to the design and/or renovation of multiple projects including homes, condominiums, and short-term rental properties. With a keen ability to think outside the box and problem solve unique challenges that arise, she strives to dream and create beautiful, well-designed spaces together with the client.
Trevor educated as a Construction Engineering Technologist; this provides a solid understanding of the fundamentals of residential, commercial, and industrial construction. Trevor is an excellent complement to Precision regarding the operational side of the business, as evidenced by the many residential properties he and Karen have renovated and general contracted throughout their 17+ years of marriage. He meets with Precision clients and oversees their projects through completion.
Precision has now been in operation for over twenty years and specializes in brick and natural stone paver laying for pool decks, retaining walls, driveways, sidewalks, and patios. We also offer synthetic turf installation and landscape lighting services. We would love to meet with you to discuss your project!
